Mr Saminda possesses 17 years of experience in the leasing and finance industry. Saminda started his career at People’s Leasing and Finance PLC and possesses experience in working in Middle Management in diversified roles in his 15 years of career span there. Prior to joining Orient Finance PLC, he was attached to Multi Finance PLC as the AGM- Operations and Branches. He possesses extensive experience in Branch Operations, Credit Management, Marketing and Operations in the Industry.

Saminda is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA UK), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) and Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM-UK). He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honors in Physical Science from the University of Peradeniya. Saminda was awarded the Gold Medal for Excellence in Operational Practices by Haychem Ltd, he was the Bronze Medalist for the Territory Manager in Financial Products and Service Category in 2014 at SLIM NASCO and he was also awarded the Second Runner up in Category B at the People’s Leasing Premier Awards 2014/15.
