Mr. Wajira possesses 15 years of HR experience in multiple industries such as Finance, Logistics, and Medical. He started his career at Commercial Leasing PLC and possesses experience in both HR and administration capacities. then he joined LOLC and contributed to achieving corporate milestones in assorted ways, subsequently, he joined DHL Keells JV of JKH wherein he gained multinational working exposure in the HR arena as HR Specialist. Wajira was employed at AIPL as HR Manager prior to joining Orient Finance PLC.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Human resources from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kelaniya. He has completed National Diploma in Business Management and Advanced National Diploma in HR from NIBM. Moreover, he has obtained a certified trainer qualification from the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development whilst being a member of the Association of HR Professionals.
