Mrs Gayani Godellawatta counts over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Commencing her career with the financial sector regulator, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, she has held the positions of Deputy Director of Banking Supervision and Deputy Chief Accountant. She has also held senior management positions with two international banks operating in Sri Lanka in the area of Compliance. An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, she holds an International Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenapura.
